Genuine Strider

Why Demand “Genuine” Strider Products

Our goal is to get kids riding at the youngest age possible, so we do extra research and engineering to manufacture products that meet the most stringent safety requirements. We are committed to helping maintain your child’s health and safety. Before any Strider bike or product is placed into the hands of a child, it is tested to the highest standards required by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission for children’s products and toys.

Further, if a Strider bike or product is intended for a country other than the United States, it is also tested to the European Union technical requirements to obtain a CE Mark.
We also test our products to age grading levels much younger and more rigorous than many competitors in the market. Many balance bikes on the market today are only safe for kids 3 years and older. The standard for products age-graded for children “3+ years old” is not as stringent as the standard for products age-graded for children “6 months and up.” When you choose genuine Strider products, you are assured of the highest quality and safety for your child.

What Makes a Strider “Genuine”

For a Strider to be “Genuine” it must not only be from our factory, but also delivered through our Authorized Supply Chain of Franchisees, Distributors, and Dealers.

If product is not from our factory (counterfeit), then it is obviously not Genuine. If a product was produced in our factory but fell into “unauthorized” hands at some point in the supply chain due to a contract breach, then that product is also considered “Non-Genuine and Unauthorized” since we don’t know the circumstances of its handling and can no longer vouch for its mechanical or chemical safety.

How to Identify a Genuine Strider

Several unique identifying features of Strider Bikes built in our factory are highlighted here. However, counterfeit product is hard to spot, so beyond this physical verification, the “Authorized” status of the party selling the bike must be verified. Only when both of these are confirmed can you be assured you are buying a Genuine Strider product and be guaranteed your child is riding a bike that is built to Strider’s quality standards, has passed rigorous safety testing, and is backed by our 60-day guarantee and our 2-year warranty.
