Sarah Brooks for here little boy:

There was a small boy from the west
Who wanted to ride with the best
His balance was poor
He sometimes fell on the floor
A bike was too hard of a test

Along came a shiny, red Strider
With ease he became a road glider
The smile on his face
Soon lit up the place
With pride he's become a bike rider.

Becky Brauchler

"Strider Girl"- a limerick

The neighborhood race was a must
So down the dirt road the kids rushed
But no trainer or trike
Matched her pedal-less bike
And she left all the boys in the dust!

    Grin upon their face.
Small hands grip; feet are steady.
    Stride on little one.

A Valentine's Strider Limerick for Our Little Boy
    by Mommy & Daddy

There once was a wee little tyke.
Who so longed to have his own bike!

    What hope has this rider?
    If not, but a STRIDER!

To win one, he would be so psyched!

There once was a girl turning two
Who was all down and out and just blue.
She could not be a glider
    Without that cool Strider,
So she's leaving this all up to you!

    My baby wants a Strider,
he wants to be a rider.
    Oh to see him glide,
    we would take such pride.
    A sporty little guy,
he'll ride on his first try.

    After lots of trying,
    my boy will be flying!
    To the track with Dad,
    that will be so rad!
    He can't wait to race,
of course he'll get first place!

    I love my little boy,
let's make him jump for joy!
    If we were to win,
    he'll have the biggest grin.
But if we don't, we won't be sore,
Daddy will take us to the store!

Entering on behalf of my 20 month old son.

A limerick entry for a girls strider

Natalie Mae is my wild one
She really makes mom come undone
    She doesn't sleep
    It makes me weep
We NEED a strider for exhausting fun!

The Strider is my rider and partner
    don't you see,
I learned to turn left and right as easy as
    1,2, 3.
My Strider is red and glistens in the sun,
however snow has been more fun!

Put the ski's on them and let me go,
it was so much fun I didn't want to have to go.

But then I remembered I ride it in my home,
so okay then I am ready to go.

    If I has one goal,
    If I had one dream,
It would not be to stroll,
    Beside a peaceful stream.

It would not be to fly,
    Or to climb a tree.
    Instead, I’d rather cry,
And beg down on one knee.

    PLEASE, let me ride,
And race right through the stream.
    Let me conquer and divide
    And make my Grandma scream.

Let me jump, let me race,
Let me run, let me glide.
    PLEASE let me embrace
    This Strider joyride!

    (girl Strider!)

that is what I'd truly like to be
'cause if I were a little Strider rider
everyone would be in love with me.

    Just learned to walk
Have yet to learn to run
I am looking to have some fun

Need to work on balancing skills
While getting some good, hard thrills
    Strangers laughing, strangers smiling
All at me, while I'm riding

    Speeding down the street
With grass and asphalt at my feet
I am getting stronger, must push harder
I absolutely love my little Strider

(Daxton, 15 month boy- extremely interested in bikes of all sizes and kinds; excitedly awaiting his own balance bike.)

Strider O Strider, oh how I love thee.
    Strider O Strider, I am only 3.
Strider O Strider, you sleep by my side.
Strider O Strider, you are my main pride.

Strider O Strider, I live for the thrill.
Strider O Strider, I just rode my first hill.
Strider O Strider, I really love you.
Strider O Strider, I hope you love my poem too!

No need to run beside me
    Biking on my own

This is for my little man.

    I looked at my Strider
    who rode ride beside me
    and took my breath away.

I love the site of my little guy
who knows how to ride the cool way.

    What's that that your riding?
    No not riding, I'm striding

That look on your face it is pure joy
Cuz this bike is just right for this kinda boy

    Your so small?
Yes but I don't get hurt when I fall

But a purchase of this kind would put mom in debt
But if you could win one, it would be worth it you bet!!

What advantage is it, the one with no pedals?
My balance is improving, when I race I win Medals!

    Grandma wants one for Wyatt!!
Then say it loud, and don't worry about being quiet!!!

Even rode with the baby inside her
Now that bike babe is here
    And her first birthday's near,
And we're dying to give her a Strider!

I just learned to walk and soon I will be one
Our family loves Striders this would make twice the fun
It’s only a matter of time before I can ride
My brother Anthony will teach me how to glide
I try to keep up with my big brother
I know I’ll learn to ride like no other
We take family rides down at the beach
I’ll be allowed out of the trailer as soon as I can reach
My mommy and daddy love to watch me grow
They will be so proud to see me go, go, go!
Striders teach balance, power and speed
Developing the confidence that we all need
Please pick me to win the pink Strider
I promise to try my best as a new glider!

At just 19 months old- I am dying to find
The neatest and coolest ride of all time
I've been walking and walking down this lonely boring road
I want something I can ride that is colorful and bold!
I don't want anything stopping me when dogs are at my heels
Gimme something light as air with grips and two wheels!
My mommy and daddy say that Strider is for me
But Strider oh Strider what can you be?

Help me- Grayson James Stadler-learn to be balanced to a tee
For a boys only dear Valentine would be winning one free!

I saw a little boy enjoy the ride
into the sunset in Hawaii skies.
He feels the wind and sun on his face
and brings much joy onto his face.
He wants to enjoy riding on a Strider bike
before he learns how to ride a bike.
His face will be filled with joy and grace
to find a Strider bike on this Valentine's Day.

No one told her to stride.
    No instructions were given,
    She’d seen no Striders ridden,
    I held it inside.
    She sat down, eyes wide,
    Close to my side.
    Little steps, concentrating,
Handle bars gripped – I am waiting -
    Her first little glide!
    The sounds that escape
    Raw joy, possibility!
    In a moment, she’s grown.
    Now owning the landscape
    Legs sway with discovery
    Gliding off, on her own.

(This entry is for my second daughter who will be 1.5 this spring. She would love to use her sister's bike but she is not finished with it. not even close. Thank you for the opportunity!)

We love to ride in the sun,
But training wheels are no fun!
    We would love a Strider
To make our son a better rider
And tell the training wheels we are done!
