Race Day Registration for 14x Only

Strider Cup Races are family-friendly race and play experiences designed to let little ones ages 2-6 years old explore the world on two wheels. The races offer the structure of an organized and competitive race in a fun and inviting atmosphere where family and friends are supportive of all riders.

New for 2018, we have added a race class for the Strider 14x Sport. The 14x Sport races will be an open class for multiple age groups (3-6 years old) and will be for Strider 14x Sport bikes in balance bike mode only (no Easy-Ride Pedal Kit attached). One of the big advantages to this new racing class is if your racer would like to race in two classes on race day, that is now an option. Your little one could race once in the 3, 4 or 5 year old class on their Strider 12 Bike, and then race again in the 14x class. A second registration & fee would be required.

  • Online Registration is now open. $27 + service fee ($3.56) Includes a Strider Jersey, Number Plate, and other goodies!
  • Online registration for both the Strider 12 Races (age classes 2, 3, 4 and 5 year olds) and the 14x Open Class race closes on July 17th at 10pm Mountain Standard Time
  • On-site registration is only available to the 14x Open Class racers at both Friday’s packet pickup and race day.
  • Only Strider brand balance bikes are permitted to race. Please read the full Strider 12 Race Rules. If you plan on participating in a 14x race, please read the full Strider 14x Race Rules.

Coined the “Tour de France for Toddlers” by major news outlets, Strider Cup races are a must-experience event for the entire family.  You’ve never seen anything like a Strider Cup race, and children will never forget the fun and excitement these Strider-exclusive events provide.

Online registration is required for the 2, 3, 4 and 5 year old Strider 12 classes, with online registration ending on July 17th at 10pm Mountain Standard Time. There will be no registrations after that time for these classes. No child shall be allowed to register for the 2, 3, 4, or 5 year old classes on race day or at Packet Pick-Up.

Registration for the 14x class can be made online up until July 17th at 10pm Mountain Standard Time. After this time, registration for the 14x Class can be made only in person at the Packet Pick-Up on the Friday prior to race day or on race day up until one hour prior to the scheduled 14x race.

Only one racer is allowed to register per form. To register multiple racers, repeat the registration process for each racer. If your racer is competing in both their age group (3, 4 or 5 year olds) in a Strider 12 Race, and the 14x Class, you will need to repeat the registration process twice, once for each of the race classes.

Please bring the electronic or printed tickets that you receive upon completing registration to Packet Pick-Up.

Mandatory Packet Pick-Up and Bike (Tech) Inspection

Friday's Packet Pick-Up and Bike (Tech) Inspection is mandatory. Please stop by Packet Pick-Up with your racer, Strider Bike, and helmet on Friday, July 20 at Boulder Civic Area. Please see the above schedules for specific timing.

During this Packet Pick-Up and a simple Tech Inspection, your child will receive their registration bag complete with a Strider jersey, assigned number plate, and other goodies. Also at this time, your child’s bike will be inspected to ensure compliance with our racing rules. For more information regarding Tech Inspection please read the Tech Inspection Overview.

Any concerns will need to be addressed before your child can race. Friday Packet Pick-Up and Tech Inspection is mandatory and gives us the opportunity to address any issues in a calm, non-rushed atmosphere and inform you as to what to expect on race day. We would also like to inform you about important times as related to your race class, how the "HEATS" (1st Race) and "MAINS" (2nd Race) will work, and how the awards ceremony will flow.

Please review our Weather Policy for all Strider Cup Races.
