Strider 12 Sport vs. 12 Pro

Whether your kiddo is riding on neighborhood sidewalks, taking on dirt trails, training for a race, or cruising a sandy beach, the Bike Builder offers every performance part you’ll need. The approximate age range for any Strider 12 Balance Bike is 1 to 4 years, or an inseam range of 30 – 51 cm (12-20 inches). Both the 12 Sport and 12 Pro are fully adjustable balance bikes with no-tool assembly.

So, what’s the biggest difference between these models?

Building your Strider 12 Sport begins with a lightweight steel frame and fork kit (3.3 lbs.), including a performance footrest, and padded seat with adjustable post that grows with your child. This is our most popular Strider bike sold around the world for a reason.
The Strider 12 Pro has all the amazing features included with the Sport but this high-end model comes in an aluminum frame and fork kit making it extra light weight (2.4 lbs.). This is where performance meets perfection – the World’s Lightest Strider®.

I can't encourage you enough to buy one of these bikes if you have a child who doesn't know how to ride a bike or has never tried to ride a bike...Do your little one a favor and purchase a Strider bike. There are many other balance bikes out there, but none as durable, reliable, or easy to use as a Strider.
