In honor of St. Patrick's Day we found the 2011 Irish Dowhnhill Championship...You wouldn't believe how difficult it is to find a decent video of a leprechaun on a bicycle! Alice and Andrew from Ireland(Below) were the closest we could get. If anybody does happen to dress their STRIDER Rider up for a St. Patty's Day parade make sure to share your photos and video at StriderLife.

I think our favorite part of this video (besides the amazing downhill course) is how casually some of the riders are dressed, Several are wearing t-shirts and shorts. In most other countries the riders are fully padded up for a race like this. Just goes to show you how tough the Irish are!

This last weekend in the lovely (usually sunny) Black Hills of South Dakota, the TinTon Trail Time Trial Stupor D took place! A brave few Strider riders were in attendance to cheer on their Moms and Dads rip down the 6.35 mile downhill course.
They also had some racing fun of their own on the off-road Strider track. Bumpy single track and maneuvering between boulders made this course much to tricky for tricycles and training wheels alike! We always have a fun time seeing the next generation of Mountain Bike racers cheer on their parents astride their Striders!

We found a great GoPro video of Devin on his orange Strider! Devin's camera is mounted on his handlebars and bike frame to give you a totally different perspective on the Strider experience.
When Devin lets out his YAHOO! we bet you can't keep from smiling...we couldn't.
Strider Down Hill
Strider Cup Adult Downhill, as in small toddler sized Strider balance bikes with adult sized riders! Put your game face on and race for $1000 in prize money.
The two classes are outlined in the PDF file linked to here.
1. The Modified Class allows your creative side to kick in, just follow the rules.

Six degrees Fahrenheit with Six more inches of fresh snow on the ground! We're gonna have to do our Strider riding in the house for a while longer. Hopefully it's better in your neck of the woods.
While we're dreaming of higher temps, less snow and dry trails here is a great video of :"Kai killin' it on his Strider!"
Kai rocks it down grassy slopes (make sure you're wearing your helmet), down stairs, bike trails and a bmx track! Awesome footage that will help with cabin fever while the snow is melting...it's got to melt sometime right?
