There is something about riding a bike at night...Jane has already discovered this at the age of 3. With the lack of daylight hours in Striderville lights are even a good idea before dinner! Here is the story from her Mom.
"We came home at 7:30 last night. As I parked the car, 3-year-old Jane asked, "Mommy, ride my bike please?" I hesitated long enough to remember that we keep bike lights charged and she already had her jacket on. "Sure honey!" So Jane had her first night ride on her Strider. So rad! Thanks for a great product!"
Hopefully there are many more night rides in her biking future!
Have a great weekend whether you get out for a ride at night or not.

Eli is just 14 months old and is already starting to ride a KTM STRIDER through the Elite Motorsports showroom in Loveland, Colorado. Jason, Eli's Dad, is a loyal KTM rider and was thrilled to document the occasion. Strider Sports is always excited to hear from parents and of course always thrilled to start a kids love of all thing two wheeled. Stride On!

Being the youngest kid can be difficult...especially when all your siblings are zooming around on their bikes. Hopefully after the Christmas season we'll get more stories like this in our inbox! (only 18 days left...hint, hint)
"My son received this bike for his third birthday. He has ridden it nearly everyday since then (11 months ago). He has such freedom to ride and coast with this bike. It lets him keep up with his older siblings, and it has given him great confidence on a bike. I know that he could easily move to a two-wheel "regular" bike now, but this Strider is so much fun for him that I am simply buying the extended-height seat post to give him another year on it. I highly, highly recommend this bike!" ~Kelley (Mom of 4)
At the age of seven "Cowboy" Kenny Bartram (#690) started his career in motorcycles. After turning professional at the age of fifteen his destiny was clear. Since that fateful day he has become the winning-est freestyle (10 X-game medals) motocross rider in the world!
Kenny was inspired by his uncle...we have a feeling that his son, Brooks Bartram, will have all the inspiration he'll ever need! For his 4th birthday his Dad bought him a KTM STRIDER to match his own KTM Motocross bike.

After a little experimentation Brooks is already hitting ramps, albeit a bit smaller than the ones his Dad is jumping off of:
This would be a super fun project to do with your STRIDER riders on a cold Winter day. I love this video because, similar to a card in the spokes, it shows how something simple can make a bike unique and put a smile on anyone's face.
My daughter would be really impressed with a galloping horse...what would your STRIDER rider want to put on their wheel?
Enjoy the video and enjoy your STRIDERday!
Tim V. uploaded a great video to StriderLife.com on Thursday that chronicles his Son's (Daniel a.k.a. Tito) Strider fun from their month long road trip up the West Coast of the US.
If you've got a couple extra minutes check out the longer video with some footage of Tito's kite attached to his Strider (7:27 mark) and then get outside and make some family memories of your own!

Four Strider employees will be racing in the Big race and four Strider employee's kids are racing in the Strider World Cup Dakota Five-O!

On Saturday, the sixteenth of July, Strider Staff and Family got together for a bike ride on the Mickelson Trail in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota.
An especially scenic ten mile section was chosen from over 100 available miles to ride. A great time was had by all from the youngest (Finian 9 months) to the oldest Joe "Grillmaster" McFarland (We're not telling).
Most of the Strider riders rode for a mile or two then took a break in a pull-behind trailer or riding up front with a parent. One of the many advantages of a Strider is how light-weight they are and how easily they can be attached to a trailer or stroller!
The weather peaked in the 90's with a nice breeze, but riding through the canyons, over bridges and even through an old railway tunnel kept it fun for all. A few of the kids got squirts from a parent's water bottle while they were sitting in their trailers!
