Once kids learn how to read and write their own name, anything personalized becomes even more special to them!
Here is a quick easy project you can do with your child (between the ages of 6 and 10 years old.)
These are the supplies you will need:
1. Card Stock. (Color of your choice)
2. Zip ties. (You could also use twist bread ties or pipe cleaners.)
3. Marker or other writing utinsil. (I used a good ol' trusty sharpie.)
5. Hole Punch. (This is optional. You could also use the scissors for the holes.)
6. Tape (Or glue.)
7. (Not pictured) Any other decorating supplies you can think of! This can be as simple or extravagant as they want!
After your child is finished with his or her personalized license plate, you can use a plastic bag and packaging tape to waterproof, or peel and stick laminating sheets. Again, this is optional, but it will help extend the life of their masterpiece a little bit longer!
Attach the plate to your child's bike around the seat rails. If you are using zip ties, cut off the excess ends of the ties for your child.
Now your child can tear it up with thier new custom plate! Post pictures of your child's new personalized STRIDER license plate on our facebook page!

The Newest In Strider’s Line Of Popular No-Pedal Balance Bikes Sports An Ultra Light, Aluminum Frame For Maximum Performance
Rapid City, SD (September 25, 2013) — Strider Sports Intl., Inc., the world’s premier manufacturer and marketer of children’s no-pedal balance bikes, is bringing lightweight performance to a new level with the new STRIDER ST-PRO. Designed for kids aged 18 months to five years old, the STRIDER ST-PRO will have children cruising on asphalt, grass, and even more demanding obstacles with the strength of an aluminum frame for total control on any terrain.
The STRIDER ST-PRO was designed and built based on the same, simple, lightweight, no-pedal design as the original STRIDER No-Pedal Balance Bike. It is the perfect bike for toddlers to start exploring life on two wheels. The lightweight durability of the aluminum frame makes it a true multi-functional bike for the adventuresome child. And at under 5 pounds, it is the lightest STRIDER available to date. The STRIDER ST-PRO received impressive reactions during its debut this past week at Interbike 2013 in Las Vegas.
The STRIDER ST-PRO offers many of the same features as the STRIDER ST-4 model, but with an emphasis on lightweight performance.
- Simple, ultra-lightweight design (4.9 pounds)
o Perfect for toddlers aged 18 months - 5 years old.
- All-Aluminum Frame, Fork, Handlebars, and Seat Post
o Lightweight and Stylish look from a true aluminum frame
- Patented STRIDER LAUNCHPAD Footrests
o Uniquely integrated into frame and positioned for advanced riding skills.
- Puncture-Proof EVA Polymer Tires
o Eliminate flats at approximately half the weight of an inflatable tire.
- Adjustable Aluminum Seat & Handlebar
o Keeps bike properly fit for a growing child – all the way from 18 months to 5 years!
- Stylish Number Plate
“The STRIDER ST-PRO is a natural progression for Strider Bikes,” said Ryan McFarland, Founder and President of Strider Bikes. “The aluminum frame is the perfect way for STRIDER Riders to take the next step with their riding, whether it’s onto the playground or the dirt track. We can’t wait to see toddlers enjoying life on two wheels in more ways than ever before!”
