Happy STRIDERday: Danny In San Francisco

Written by
I bet the last thing you thought you'd see in the STRIDER blog is an advertisement for a Remington razor. Once you watch it you'll know why it's on here. This quote from the movie is one of the reasons that Danny McCaskill is one of our favorite guys to watch ride; "There's a real sort of feeling of joy and accomplishment...that's why you ride" Check it out with the STRIDER riders in your life and let us know what their responses are. These days we kind of know what we’re doing, but back then we had no idea. Joe kept us from walking off unseen cliffs a hundred times. He was not only incredibly smart, he also had the ability to adapt and change and learn. We went from selling three or four balance bikes a week in Rapid City to selling tens of thousands of bikes in dozens of…

Strider Sports International is donating 500 bikes to UHCCF throughout 2012 to be distributed to children at various UHCCF fundraising events and to raise funds for its child medical grant program. In addition, Strider Sports will donate a percentage of bike sales throughout the year to UHCCF. The UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation provides medical grants, up to $5,000, to help families pay for…
The STRIDER Adventure Zone Tour of California has begun in Santa Rosa! We will be sharing reports and photos from the road all week as we travel with the Amgen Tour of California. It is always fun to be around so many people who are all focused on biking! We've seen Mountain Bikes, Road Bikes, Beach Cruisers and Commuters...the best part is that they all seem to get that balance is so important in the learning process.
