Can Your Family Commit to 30 Days Of Biking?

In 2010 a couple bicyclists in Minneapolis, MN challenged each other to ride their bike every day for the month of April. Whether it was on a family ride around the block, on a long commute to work or just some mountain biking for fun. The first year there were around 600 locals and bike-savvy techies that picked up on #30daysofbiking and the a bunch of fun content that was being posted on Twitter. 2011 was a big year for are a few highlights. 1. STRIDER Cup racing sailed across the Pacific (from Japan) and landed on American Soil! Two to five year olds from across the nation competed in varying venues from: BMX Tracks, USA Pro Cycling Challenge finish festival, Laguna Seca MotoGP, Gunnison River Festival, bike rodeos, moto-cross and cyclo-cross races not to mention countless sibling/neighborhood rivalries world-wide. The USA BMX Gator Nationals are taking place this weekend. It is the 3rd of 31 National STRIDER World Cup races that will be taking place all over the country. It sometimes seems overwhelming when we think about all of the pre-race, day of race and post-race work that needs to get done.
