Great things are happening here in STRIDERVILLE!

  On Friday September 19th at 4:25pm at Main Street Square, Rapid City- Strider Sports International will host its first ever official Special Olympics exhibition race! For the past month, athletes from Special Olympics South Dakota Flame have had weekly STRIDER training sessions. The riders ranging in age from approximately 8 to 35 are participating in this event without having any previous experience at all on a two wheeled bike.   As many of you know, Strider was lucky enough to be invited to host an Adventure Zone as part of the Special Olympics USA Games held in New Jersey in June. Here it is, more than a month later, and still, all I can say is “WOW”! It was such an honor for us to participate in the first ever Young Athletes Festival.  This amazing celebration of Special Olympics youngest, and future athletes was presented by Toys R Us and was at the Special Olympics New Jersey Sports Complex.
