The major feature differences between the different Strider Balance Bike models that will help you determine which bike you have are detailed below
The Strider 12 Pro is the premium 12” Strider Balance Bike model. This high-end model has an all-aluminum frame, making it the lightest Strider available. The Strider 12 Pro is available in one color, silver.
The Strider 12 Pro comes with a race-ready number plate to be attached to the front handlebars. An additional feature of the Strider Pro is the Performance Footrest. The footrest is uniquely positioned directly below the saddle for natural bike balance. This position also fosters the advanced ability to stand while gliding as well as pumping and jumping the bike.
The Strider 12 Sport is the most popular Strider model. Its durability and a wide range of features make the Sport perfect for 18 months to a 3+ year-old. The 12 Sport comes equipped with easy adjustable padded seat and handlebar clamps. Another difference you’ll notice with the 12 Sport, is that the handlebar grips are small – fitting a handlebar with a 12.7mm diameter – the perfect size for little hands to be in control. The 12 Sport also includes a padded handlebar for extra safety. Inside the box the 12 Sport includes an XL Seatpost, allowing the bike to continue to fit larger children up to five years old.
The Strider 12 Classic is our entry-level balance bike. This simple and durable model is lightweight making learning to ride easy for first time riders. The 12 Classic is great for skill-building with features that include an adjustable seat and handle bar height, built-in footrests, and a plastic, all-weather seat, able to withstand some of the harshest weather. The handlebars on the 12 Classic can be adjusted manually using the included hex wrench. The handlebar grips fit a 22mm bar, larger than those on the 12 Sport and 12 Pro.
